Kevin, It’s Jonathan Bellingham. Remember when we met last fall at the Ruritan 5k and I was training for the senior olympics? Well, I qualified last weekend at the VA senior games in Richmond. I finished 3rd in the 1500m with a time of 5:09, 10 seconds under the standard. So I will be heading to Cleveland July 2013 for the nationals. Thought you would appreciate it! See you around the running trails….

Running is such a wonderful thing. It allows for what was for you a somewhat dissappointing workout to appear inspirational to others. I know those days of 7 minute miles are for the most part a thing of my past however your efforts help remind me to keep showing up!

Been there, although it was on the other end of the spectrum of being too warm. Also, got a little off track and ended up with an extra long run. Police officer wasn’t a runner or as sociable, but she was still considerate enough to give us a ride back to our cars. Saved us turning a 15 miler into a 22 miler!
